Recycle for Christmas Decorations

Recycling is a good thing. The Christmas Season can be rather daunting to your normal household budget which ends up getting used up for the next couple of months.

I personally love to find things that I can recycle and upcycle.  This way I am saving money and I am having fun by refinishing furniture or in this case an old child's playhouse.

With  paint, glue and either homemade decorations or cheap dollar store decorations along with an old string of Christmas lights you can turn an old grungy child's playhouse into a Gingerbread House for a decoration in your yard or even inside of your home.

There is no end to your imagination when upcycling and recycling. This child's playhouse can also be decorated for Easter, Hanukkah, St. Patrick's Day and any other holiday you may celebrate.

Not only are these recycled playhouses adorable if you can find more than one of these child's playhouses why not decorate them and sell them to make extra Christmas spending money.

Have fun with your inner child and get crafty.  Recycle and upcycle.
