Cooking Without Fat

Cooking pork chops, steak and other meats goes hand in hand with adding extra fat.  This fat is butter or cooking oil.

One of the best products to have in your home is a George Foreman Grill (Buy it in our shop!).  By far cooking with a George Foreman Grill is the healthiest way to cook not only your meats but vegetables as well.

You will have time to cook healthy and no more excuses. The George Foreman Grill cooks both sides of your meat at the same time at the same temperature cooking your meat evenly.

No more added fat to your diet means a healthier body. You will be eating less cholesterol in your meals and the excess fat from your meat drains away from the meat.

Cooking Frozen or Fresh Vegetables

The best way to cook any vegetable is to steam it.  If you have a steamer basket use it. If you do not have one get one (We have one for sale!).  Add a little bit of water to the bottom of your pan, add your steamer basket and fill it with fresh or frozen vegetables.
By steaming your vegetables you are keeping all of the vitamins and minerals that are needed for a healthier body.  When you boil your fresh vegetables all of those precious vitamins and minerals leach out into the water and away from your vegetables.

Place your fresh or frozen vegetables on the George Foreman Grill along with your meat.  Fresh vegetables and be put on the grill at the same time as your meat.  You will find that your fresh vegetables retain their original taste and will not be mushy.  Mushy vegetables is what turns off children from eating their veggies.

Cooking Frozen Vegetables

There is absolutely no need to cover frozen vegetables with water when cooking them.  Frozen vegetables are, well, frozen. This means they are full of extra water.  Right?

When pan cooking frozen vegetables simply place them in the bottom of your pan without any extra water.  Cook them on LOW heat and watch them.  It takes less than 2 minutes to cook frozen vegetables in this manner. The water from the frozen vegetables will melt in turn steaming the vegetables as they are cooking.  Again, you are retaining the precious vitamins and minerals.

Put your frozen vegetables on your George Foreman Grill along with your meat.  The ice crystals will melt away and you will be steaming the vegetables at the same time.

Your resolution in 2017 is to eat healthier.  Your body and your family will love you for it.
